At the Bali Safari and Marine Park you can cuddle and have photos with a baby tiger, a baby orangutan, cockatoo and various other wildlife. And talk about getting up close to the animals, when you go on tour in the safari bus the animals come right up to you, even the lions and tigers. The bus is very safe so dont be concerned.
It costs approx. $25.00 Australian for two to get in, and your ride on safari bus (which takes about half an hour or so) and a photo with an animal is included in the cost. The food and drinks are cheap inside the park, and there's even pools and a water park, so bring swimming clothes.
The park, located about 25 minutes from Kuta, is "Westernized" and comfortable -- they have the cooling mist sprayers all around so you dont feel the heat, for example.
Various animal shows are on also during the day, and you can get very close to the animals and ride elephants, camels, and pony's.
